In addition to becoming a published author in July 2012, I have written professionally for newspapers and magazines since 1989. I have worked at newspapers in Denver, Seattle and Albuquerque. I have been writing for a healthcare magazine since June 2011. As a journalist, I have won more than two dozen writing awards, including two national awards for excellence in editorial writing.
 
Personally, I have always loved the outdoors and have always been into sports especially tennis, running, hiking and swimming. I love skiing as well, but I don't like being cold, so I spend more time on golf courses than ski slopes. I also enjoy traveling.
